On the J.L.R brow training course, we’ll cover all the brow techniques you’ll need to know to create luxury brows for every client. Combining theory and practical application, you’ll leave our beauty salon in Kent, confident and ready to start transforming eyebrows.

What does the brow training course cover? 

The J.L.R brow training course is a fully accredited course that follows the national standards for Level 2/3 beauty. Students on the course will learn the following: 

  • Health, Hygiene and Safety

  • Skin and hair anatomy 

  • Government guidelines 

  • Client consultation process and procedure - Discovering exactly what your clients want and how you can create it.

  • Eyebrow Tint Blending - Mastering colour theory and how to mix a tint colour that’s unique to each hair colour or client preference.

  • Eyebrow Mapping

  • Eyebrow Waxing - Our trained brow technician will teach you how to transform your client's facial shape through skilled waxing.

  • Tailoring (tweezing) 

  • Finishing (makeup)

  • Aftercare 

  • Social Media 

  • Products

*Eyebrow threading is not included in this course.

J.L.R Brow training course kits: 

When you train with J.L.R, students have the option to add brow kits to their course which are equipped with our top recommended tools and products. The brow trainer will guide you in choosing the right products and kits for your needs.

*Brow product kits come at an additional cost.

Where and when can I complete the J.L.R brow training course? 

J.L.R brow training course is run from their beautiful brow bar in Deal, Kent. The course will take place on Sundays to help accommodate your other commitments, as well as other selected days. 

When booking, please let us know which days best suit you!

How old do I have to be to book onto the J.L.R brow course?

Due to insurance policies, students of J.L.R must be at least 16 with parental content. 

How long will it take to become a qualified brow technician?

1 day! The J.L.R brow training course is one day of intense training from 10am-5pm. This includes working on a model after practising on each other's inner arms. You will become a qualified brow technician when you have successfully completed your practical module and you’ll receive a J.LR certificate. In any case, after the training  course, students will have to continue obtaining case studies, unless their work is second to none on the day of the exam.

Students will be able to take a lunch break at 12:30 and venture into our lovely local town to grab some food and a drink.

What happens after my J.L.R brow training course? 

After completing your brow training, you will have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform perfect brows treatment on clients.

Once you have achieved certification, you can start offering brow treatments to clients in a salon, spa, or other beauty settings. You may also choose to further specialise in brows by continuing your education and training in advanced techniques and styles, such as micro blading or lamination.

In addition to providing treatments, as a new brows stylist, you may also be responsible for other tasks such as managing appointments, keeping accurate client records, marketing your services, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.   

Overall, the path after your J.L.R brow training will depend on your goals, interests, and the specific requirements of your chosen career.

Note - There will be a WhatsApp group support with J.LR brow students to help build each others confidence with pictures, ask questions and grow together in the brow and beauty industry.


JLR Brow Lamination Course

What does the Brow Lamination training course cover?  

The Lamination training course is a fully accredited course that follows the national standrds for Level 2/3 beauty. Students on the course will learn the following:  

  • Health, Hygiene and Safety

  • Government guidelines  

  • Client consultation process and procedure - Discovering exactly what your clients want and how you can create it. 

  • Basic Eyebrow Tint Blending  

  • Basic Eyebrow Mapping 

  • Basic Eyebrow Waxing  

  • Tailoring (tweezing)  

  • Aftercare
